The Holy Land

My three month plunge in the Holy Land is definitely at the top of my list of exciting travel expeditions. This was my first time getting to travel overseas; something that seemed like only a wispy dream in the far off, intangible future was suddenly right at my doorstep. This gallery features young adults all throughout the West Bank celebrating receiving their exam scores, ready to move on into the next phase of life and potentially a higher education. According to Memo Middle East Monitor, 70 percent of students passed in 2019. I'm not certain which was my favorite perk; the incredible hospitality, the savory falafel sandwiches, or the accessibility of having both toasty afternoons and breezy evenings. This place is an absolute favorite and I would return in a heartbeat. I'm also truly thankful for new lifelong friends and family.
